Our Story

Ricky Smith is the proud owner and founder of Bug n’ Green, a pest control and lawn care business established in 2025. Born and raised in South Florida, Ricky has been passionate about the outdoors and environmental sciences from a young age. After graduating from Cooper City High School in 2015, he went on to earn his AA degree in 2019, followed by specialized studies in entomology and agriculture.

Our Experience

Ricky's hands-on experience in lawn care and landscaping began in 2015, giving him a deep understanding of the industry. In 2019, he expanded his skillset to include pest control and fertilization, further enhancing his expertise. After years of working in the field, Ricky earned his operator’s license and other relevant certifications in 2023, paving the way for him to launch his own business.

With Bug n’ Green, Ricky combines his years of practical experience with his knowledge of plant and pest science to provide comprehensive and environmentally conscious solutions for both pest control and lawn care. His mission is to create healthier, greener spaces for his clients while delivering top-notch customer service.
